Danish audio technology works with Nibe and Roskilde Festivals to promote innovation and audio experience for the benefit of the festival audience, technicians and artists.

As a member of The Danish Sound Technology Network you will be able to exchange your normal ticket for a backstagepas and participate in the backstage event that will take place on Thursday the 2nd of July at Roskilde and Saturday the 4th of July at Nibe.

We get to see the backstage area and talk with the engineers and professionals about the hardware and software challenges. The goal is to generate ideas for innovative experiments that can be tested at the festivals in 2010.

Danish Sound Technology at festivals 2009-2010

Danish Sound Technology Network has established a partnership with the festivals in Roskilde and Nibe to promote new and better sound experiences through innovative combinations of:

technology – artistic expressions – service and event concepts – interactivity

The network invites Danish companies, inventors, entrepreneurs and scientists to help develop ideas that can become a reality in 2010 at festivals.

Furthermore, the aim is to raise awareness of audio technology as a study and training opportunity.

A visit to backstage areas where a technician with a good overview explains the technological set-up

Conversations with engineers: what is the biggest challenge? What could make life better and easier?

Access to backstage. You get access to the area which is reserved for artists, media and staff

Lunch and networking. We have a meal together and have the opportunity to forge new contacts.
